The Presses Are Rolling

You’re It! has now officially gone to press!

We are getting closer and closer to receiving the printed copy of our book. Last week, our printer sent us the plotter proof of the book cover. For the first time, we had the opportunity to see the full cover of You’re It! all nicely put together (front, spine and back). The inside pages were also laid out, trimmed and ready for print. Our printer has been doing an amazing job and we are very excited to see the final results in the next couple of weeks.

Yes, it has been a long but exciting process. As you can imagine, the design and layout are very important when it comes to book production. A poorly designed book may not garner the attention it deserves. With that in mind, we carefully selected fonts and designed chapter pages in ways that complement not only the style of the book, but also the story that You’re It! is trying to tell.

The book has been the result of a collaborative team effort between the authors, editors, graphic designer and printer. We hope our readers will enjoy the final product.

Coming off the press, You’re It! will go to the bindery next. We will have copies available for purchase at the book launch on May 4, 2017. If you haven’t registered for the event yet, please do so here.
